The Last of Us Season 2 release date is unconfirmed

HBO renewed The Last of Us for a second season back in January 2023 which came as no surprise, given how quickly the show broke HBO viewing records. Despite the success, HBO is yet to confirm a release date for The Last of Us season 2.

The only official update that we have is that it will be released in 2025. During Max's 'The One to Watch' trailer, it was revealed TLOU season 2 is set to hit the streaming next year.

Filming is currently taking place on The Last of Us season 2, but we expect that to run for several months more.
