Developer Naughty Dog has recently completed a playtest for the upcoming The Last of Us II.
At least, that’s what Troy Baker, who is reprising his role as Joel in The Last of Us Part II, said during a recent panel at the MCM Comic Con event. According to Baker, the game is going to tell an absolutely amazing story and it’s looking “awesome”. You can check out the full panel, which also features Nolan ‘David’ North, down below:
Naughty Dog performing a playtest does provide some additional info on how the game’s development is coming along. Back in December of last year, Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann and co-writer Halley Gross said that development on the game is about 50 or 60% complete.
The Last of Us Part II has yet to receive a release date, but don’t expect the game to release before 2019. As promised by Druckmann during last year’s PSX event, the game will be present at this year’s E3 event in June.
