The Last Of Us Episode 3 Had Biggest Sunday Viewership Yet-November 2024

  HBO's The Last of Us TV series continues to put up big viewership numbers. The much-loved "Long Long Time" episode--which focused on Bill and Frank and deviates significantly from the source material--reached 6.4 million people for its Sunday night viewership across HBO and HBO Max.

  This is up 12% compared to Episode 2's Sunday night viewership of 5.7 million and it's a 37% increase from the 4.7 million people who watched the series premiere on January 15.

  Sunday night viewership typically represents 20%-40% of an episode's total numbers, so the figures for Episode 3 should grow substantially in the days to come as more and more people watch.

  Episodes 1 and 2 of The Last of Us are averaging 21.3 million viewers, so Episode 3's final figures should be around there if history is any indication. For comparison, the Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon reached an average of 29 million viewers per episode.
