  December is inching ever closer, which means The Game Awards 2019 are almost here! 2019 was a somewhat eclectic year, without those obvious one or two big critical darlings, so the nominees are somewhat spread out this year. Death Stranding leads the way with 9 nominations (perhaps not a huge surprise considering Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley is in the game), with Control following closely with 8 noms. Other potential big winners are Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with 5 noms, and Resident Evil 2, The Outer Worlds, and Disco Elysium with 4 apiece. Check out the full list of nominees, below:
