December is inching ever closer, which means The Game Awards 2019 are almost here! 2019 was a somewhat eclectic year, without those obvious one or two big critical darlings, so the nominees are somewhat spread out this year. Death Stranding leads the way with 9 nominations (perhaps not a huge surprise considering Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley is in the game), with Control following closely with 8 noms.
