The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim made its debut on PC and consoles 12 years ago now, and it can still hold its own in 2023, thanks to the amazing work of modders that is constantly updating the game's visuals and gameplay.

　　In a new video shared on YouTube, Digital Dreams showed how glorious the game can look in 2023 with ray-traced global illumination ReShade and the FNEB ENB preset, which attempts and succeeds at making the game's visuals feel more realistic without taking away their trademark fantasy feel. 　　While The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's successor is still away from release, Bethesda recently provided a new universe for players to lose themselves in with Starfield, one of the best games ever made by the studio, as I highlighted in my review.

　　With an engaging story, well-developed characters and lore, and a huge amount of meaningful content, Starfield is one of Bethesda's finest games and one of the best role-playing games released in the past few years. The lack of seamless exploration and real innovation of the typical gameplay formula from the studio are noteworthy, but those willing to forego these issues will find a reactive and sprawling sci-fi universe to lose themselves in for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours.
