Strategy First and Wanadoo have announced that their upcoming real-time strategy game previously known as The Druid King is now titled Celtic Kings. The game is set in ancient Gaul amidst a conflict between four factions: the Gauls, the Romans, the Teutons, and the Druids. It will include two modes of play: adventure mode, which lets players control a party of heroes and follow a storyline, and strategic mode, which lets players compete against computer-controlled or human opponents in traditional real-time strategy battles.
Celtic Kings is in development at Haemimont Games, the Bulgarian developer that created Tzar: Burden of the Crown, and it is scheduled for release in July 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
