The Division, the third person shooter developed by Ubisoft Massive, has recently received additional content thanks to a new free update, but the team is hardly done with extra content, as more will be released in the future. The Clear Sky challenge mode was supposed to become available in the game following today's maintenance, but it seems like something unforeseen has happened.
A few minutes ago, it's been confirmed that today's The Division server maintenance has been ended earlier than anticipated, due to some issues in the latest patch including the Clear Sky challenge mode preventing it from going live. A tentative release date for the new challenge mode has yet to be confirmed, unfortunately, so there's very little we currently know about the matter.
Clear Sky is the most recent Incursion which has been added to the game in the recent 1.2 update. The Incursion isn't the only addition included in The Division 1.2 update, as it also added some new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to steal loot in the Dark Zone, and several gameplay tweaks which improved the experience for all.
Earlier this week, the PlayStation 4 version of The Division has received a new client update, which fixes the double UI issue that some have encountered following the release of the 1.2 update. The same client update has been released for the PC version of the game last week.
The Division is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Servers should be live again right now following today's shortened maintenance. We will let you know more on the Clear Sky challenge mode as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
