In the midst of the massive post International team roster shuffle the Association for Chinese Esports (ACE) have today announced that all major Eastern teams will need to complete their transfers by August 26th 2014.
The push for the teams to lock in their rosters comes off the back of concerns that players will not fulfil their obligations to complete the current on going tournaments as well as to ensure that the prize money payouts from these competitions is reaching the players.
ACE promises to announce transfer news as quickly as possible and will now require all players and ACE teams participating in tournaments to sign a new participation agreement with the organisers.
"Many people have been interested in the transfers of teams following TI4. This transfer period will end on August 26, and we will announce transfer news as quickly as possible. Additionally, to assure the completion and prize money payouts of competitions, from today onwards, all ACE teams participating in competitions will need to sign participation agreements with the organizers"
ACE's StatementThe Eastern scene has already seen a number of changes with a handful of players announcing their retirements after The International 2014.
