Bethesda just put up some of the pages from their upcoming book about the art of Fallout 4. The idea behind the book is to show the creative process that Bethesda went through when designing everything within the game, from landscapes to inanimate objects.
This book is an opportunity for us to share with you a bit of the history behind this world, how it has evolved over those years, and why some of the artistic choices were made.
Check out the rest of the pages that they've shared below, going over everything from characters, weapons, armor and even the varied landscapes and insides of some recognizable locations. It's all quite fascinating. The Art of Fallout 4 will be on sale December 22nd 2015 through their own store.
Fallout 4 has gone gold and is set for a November 10th launch on the PS4, Xbox One and the PC. It won't be available on the older consoles due to finally walking away from development on those platforms.
While controversial, Fallout 4 will feature GameWorks effects from NVIDIA, though due to the historically great optimization on all platforms and GPU's by Bethesda with their Creation engine, we should at least expect (for now) good performance all around on AMD and NVIDIA.
