TOKYO - To bring you closer to the feel of the show, here are some of the snapshots we just happened to take during the Tokyo Game Show's first day. There's some explanation necessary on some of these shots though, so let me guide you through.
First of all, "cosplay" (dressing up as your favorite game character) was a little on the light side. But there were a few people dressed up, stylin' and profilin' in their gaming threads. Of course, some of these costumed people were paid by the companies to dress up, such as those working for Capcom. You'll find a couple shots of the women adorning some booths in the pics here, plus a picture of Enix's stage show.
Last, we bring you a picture of the line that started forming for the first public day early Friday afternoon. There wasn't an "official" line, so people just began gathering outside Makuhari Messe. One can only guess how big that line is right now....
