Today, GameSpot received part of the official roster for the next-generation PlayStation console scheduled to appear at the Tokyo Game Show this September 17-19 in Japan. Contrary to earlier reports, there will be more than three games at the show floor. They are:
· Artdink - A-Ressha De Go 6· Electronic Arts Square - a action shooting game (playable demo available)· From Software - Armored Core 2, a new RPG· Idea Factory - a sports game (on video display)· Koei - Kessen (both on video display and playable demo)· Namco - new Tekken game (playable demo available - unconfirmed)· T&E Soft - a golf game
Other software companies confirmed are Atlus, Capcom, Imagineer, Konami, Sony Computer Entertainment, Square, Sunsoft, Victor Interactive, and Yukes. Our sources in Japan report that at least 50 next-generation PlayStation machines will be on display on the show floors.
