TES V: Skyrim Special Edition Eventual Ansel Support To Be Confirmed Alongside System Requirements, New Details On Achievements Revealed-November 2024
Nov 26, 2024 8:40 PM

A few PC games, such as Mirror's Edge Catalyst, The Witcher 3 and The Witness, have received support for NVIDIA Ansel technology in the past few weeks, allowing players to take some beautiful super resolution screenshots and more. Some future titles will obviously be supporting the technology, and it won't take much longer to know if the upcoming enhanced release of the popular role playing game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be among them.

A few hours ago, Bethesda's Pete Hines has been asked about the possible Ansel Support for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. While he couldn't say if support is in, he did reveal that news on the matter will be coming alongside the system requirements, which should be revealed in early October.

if so it'd be mentioned when we get to releasing system specs. Likely in early Oct

Pete Hines has also been asked recently about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Achievements list. The achievements will be the same as the Xbox 360 version, but on a different list, so those who have mastered the game on Xbox 360 will be able to do so again for the Xbox One version.

it's the same achievements but a new list, so yes, you'd have to (be able to) get them again on xbox one

In case anyone still had any doubts regarding possible additional content coming to the new release, Pete Hines confirmed that no new DLC packs will be released for the game. This isn't a huge issue, especially for those planning to get the game on PC, as the modding community will surely provide plenty of tweaks and features like it did for the original release of the game.

  no. no new content.
