Dutch publisher Project Three Interactive has today announced that its Sweden-based Termite Games development studio has been fully integrated into the Project Three group and will now be known as Project Three Interactive Studios. The studio is best known for its DVA game engine, which was used for the development of the tactical first-person shooter New World Order.
Since the game's release early this year, the studio has continued working on fixes and enhancements for the game, which will be released in the UK, France, and Germany later this month. The studio's focus now will be on expanding its DVA technology so that it might be used to develop new action games with vast environments and on adding further gameplay options such as vehicles. Project Three is expected to announce a new game based on the DVA technology in the coming weeks and has also stated that it plans to license the technology to independent developers.
