Word from Japan indicates that Namco's popular Tekken 3 arcade game will get a sequel of sorts this summer in the form of a Tekken 3.5 update. The game will use an enhanced version of the arcade hardware that Tekken 3 currently runs on, and will star characters from Tekken 3 and all the characters that didn't return from Tekken 2.
The update is set to hit Japanese arcades this summer, with a possible translation to the PlayStation sometime in the future. But since this Tekken 3.5 update will be on more advanced hardware, a PlayStation translation may not be possible.
