Hollywood Arts, a nonprofit organization helping at-risk teenagers, will be honoring game composer and Video Games Live executive producer Tommy Tallarico at its inaugural Dream Awards event. The fund-raising event will take place in Los Angeles on February 17.
In addition to awarding Tallarico, the Dream Awards will feature a performance by the 36-piece Hollywood Studio Symphony and the cos-playing COS Players.
Hollywood Arts will also hold an online auction with prizes that include an audio cameo in the upcoming Halo 3, a statue of Halo protagonist Master Chief, a tour of Bungie Studios, and signed gaming memorabilia. The auction begins February 17 and closes on February 24. All proceeds will go to Hollywood Arts' initiative to complete an art and media center in LA.
