Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the new entry in the series in development for Nintendo Switch, is now very close to release, but there's still quite a lot we don't know about the upcoming game. There might also be more characters to be announced, and a leak provides some hints on who they might be.
In the past few hours, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate alleged marketing material has emerged online. The massive banner features art showcasing all of the characters, and among them are characters that have yet to be confirmed. They have been identified by users as Shadow the Hedgehog, Banjo-Kazooie, Isaac, Ken Masters, Mach Rider, Geno, and the Chorus Kids.

While the banner seems legit, as it would take quite a huge effort to create something like this only to spread misinformation, we still have to take everything with a grain of salt until an official confirmation comes in.
Our own Dave had the chance to try out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during EGX 2018, and he was quite impressed by the demo, stating that it might be the best entry in the series yet.
It’s still too early to draw any conclusions from the demo, but I can absolutely assure all of you dear readers that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just might be the best game in the franchise yet. With chargeable Final Smash attacks, new characters, stages, items and so much more, this seems like an unmissable entry in the series, and will likely become an essential Nintendo Switch title, alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on Nintendo Switch on December 7th.
