Capcom's upcoming PlayStation 4 and PC fighting game Street Fighter V will feature a Brazil-themed stage, joining the previously announced China and London stages. Series producer Yoshinori Ono made the announcement in a video address this week, which shows a work-in-progress version of the stage.
It has also been announced that Ono and associate producer Peter Rosas will attend the Brasil Game Show, where they will announce a new Street Fighter V character. The show takes place October 8-12 in Sao Paulo.
The Brasil Game Show will also host the Brazilian leg of the Capcom Pro Tour competitive fighting game event. Registration for the tournament, which will be played using Ultra Street Fighter IV, opens in September, with qualifying rounds beginning in early October. The winner will advance to the Capcom Cup Finals, which will be held in the United States later in 2015.
In other Street Fighter V news, Capcom has announced new details about the game's upcoming beta, including when it starts, how long it will last, and how you can get in.
Street Fighter V launches in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will never be released on Xbox One thanks to an exclusivity arrangement with Sony. Capcom plans to make some kind of Street Fighter V announcement this week at Comic-Con.
