Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has been cast in the animated movie Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, according to Variety. The film is the fourth installment in the series.
Blevins, who recently made a cameo in Ryan Reynolds' video game-themed movie Free Guy, will co-star in Transformania with Adam Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building). According to a synopsis, in this new film: "Monsters are turned into humans and humans become monsters after one of Van Helsing's inventions goes haywire." Helsing is played by comedian Jim Gaffigan, and the cast also includes Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Molly Shannon (The Other Two), David Spade (Just Shoot Me), Keegan Michael-Key (Schmigadoon), and Fran Drescher (The Nanny).

The film comes from a story by Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Laboratory), which he co-wrote with Amos Vernon (Dig Your Own Grave) and Nunzio Randazzo (Future Husbands). It's co-directed by Jennifer Kluska (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Derek Drymon (Adventure Time).
Transformania was originally planned to be released theatrically in October, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the film will now release exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 14, 2022. In China, it will have a theatrical release.
Ninja will also be a featured speaker on a panel at SXSW in 2022.
