One of the memorable things about Season 1 of Netflix's Stranger Things was the gang playing some classic Dungeons and Dragons. In fact, that scene helped craft the series and the Upside Down as the Demogorgan monster was named after a lesser deity from The Abyss--even if the two looked nothing alike. Now, the two properties are coming together again for a new special.
On Friday, December 18 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, the Stranger Things YouTube channel will present Lost Odyssey: Toy Time for Ten-Towns. You can get a quick glimpse at what you can expect from the upcoming game in the trailer for it below.

The D&D session will feature various stars from the hit Netflix series: David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler). It will be led by Wizards of the Coast principal story designer Chris Perkins on DM duties.

This isn't the first time the two properties have collaborated together. In the summer of 2019, D&D released a Stranger Things starter set, which allowed players to play the game Mike and company were running during Season 1 of the Netflix series. If you want a closer look at what was inside the set and how it works, check out our breakdown of the Stranger Things D&D Starter Set.
