Over one year since its original release on the Epic Games Store, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the Final Fantasy series spin-off title developed by Team NINJA, will finally make its debut on Steam next month.
A new trailer celebrating the end of Jack Garland's journey confirms the game will release on Steam on April 7th in Japan. A few minutes after the trailer was released, it was confirmed that the game will also launch on Steam for the rest of the world on April 6th. Additionally, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be available at a permanently discounted price from now on.

While the game's reveal trailer wasn't received particularly well, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin proved to be a much better game than expected, thanks to an extremely solid action RPG formula inspired by the Souls series and Team NINJA's Nioh franchise, a great cast of characters and an engaging story. As showcased by today's new trailer, Jack's journey ended with the Different Future DLC expansion last month, an excellent expansion that wraps up the experience nicely while providing players with more challenges to conquer, as I highlighted in my review.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is now available on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. The game will launch on Steam on April 6th in North America and Europe and the following day in Japan.
