During your Steelrising playthrough, you may come across the following message: “You need a tool to break this.” This happens when you find a breakable wall that is either weakened or poorly built. If you destroy it, you will gain access to new paths within the area, which you can explore to complete both main and side quests and find loot.
However, to destroy breakable walls in Steelrising, you first need to get the Alchemist’s Ram, a powerful module that can be used during exploration and combat. How to do that? You will find all the information you need in this guide.
When you get near a breakable wall, you need to perform a Ram kick by pressing the corresponding buttons displayed on the screen, which are L1 + Triangle on PlayStation, LB + Y on Xbox, and C on PC. The path will no longer be blocked, allowing you to proceed.
It may take some time until you reach the area on the map where the Titan is located, but you can use the Compass to get some help with directions. You can equip this unique tool in your Quick Access Belt to have it always at hand.
The fight against the Alchemist can be challenging, so make sure you have enough Oil Burettes and Ordinary Oil Vials equipped so you can heal up when needed. You can also use the Alchemical Resistance Vials to neutralize all alchemical damage you may take for a brief period.
To defeat the Alchemist of Luxembourg, you must study his attacks carefully while keeping a certain distance from him since most of his offensives cover a vast area. This battle is divided into two phases, with different moves from the boss for each one. The second begins when the Titan reaches half health, and his attacks become more aggressive and dangerous.
He will use all alchemical elements against you. Be prepared to dodge them, block them with potions or stop the Alchemical Afflictions you may have taken as fast as possible by dodging, attacking, or using the Insulation Elixir. Try to immobilize this Automat by filling the corresponding meter so you can damage him while he is stunned.
Once you defeat the Alchemist of Luxembourg, you will get the Alchemist’s Ram to destroy breakable walls in Steelrising. You can also use this particular move to ignite enemies when fighting against them. Be aware that, during combat, this move requires Alchemical Capsules to be executed.
