Rockstar Games has slightly delayed the release of State of Emergency, its PlayStation 2 freestyle beat-'em-up. The game was originally set for a late January release, but it will now arrive at North American retailers on February 5. In the game, players assume the role of one of five resistance fighters and must oppose an organization simply known as the Corporation. The game takes place in Capital City and features hundreds of characters in chaotic riot situations. The player is thrown into this mix and must survive by raising as much hell as possible. The game also includes a story mode, where players have to complete more than 175 missions through four massive 3D areas.
