The release date for Starship Troopers: Extermination has been revealed today by Offworld Industries. The launch will mark an opportunity for players to collaborate closely with the Offworld Industries team through the game’s earliest development stages. Their feedback will help guide what features and mechanics to build upon before the game’s eventual transition into 1.0. So, this will be an important step for this project's future.

　　The Early Access edition of Starship Troopers: Extermination will be available at a price of $24.99 USD. This special introductory price will not stick as the game will receive more content ahead of its launch. As such, the price will be increased as time goes on and more content is added. This is just how important the feedback provided by the Early Access phase will be as users are encouraged with a more affordable price before the full release happens.

　　As for what will be accessible during this period, Starship Troopers: Extermination will boast both strategy and combat-oriented gameplay. Players can construct and reinforce bases of operations while not in heavy combat, creating a safe structure to respawn, regroup and rearm themselves in preparation for Bug-exterminating co-op play. The bases are protected from enemy spawns, and base-building isn’t linked to a specific class or rank, so Deep Space Vanguards of every stripe can utilize these structures.

　　Players are expected to face off against the Arachnid menace as Troopers in the Deep Space Vanguard, an elite Special Forces group within the Mobile Infantry. The objective is to work together to complete objectives, acquire resources, build and defend your base of operations, and then escape to the extraction point together.
