Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the second entry in the series by Respawn launching this April on PC and consoles, will feature many improvements over its predecessor, including enhanced traversal mechanics that will make it easier to explore the game's world.

　　Speaking with Play Magazine, as reported by GamesRadar, director Stig Asmussen confirmed that the game will feature both rideable creatures and fast travel, which were both not available in Jedi: Fallen Order. This is a very welcome addition, as backtracing to previously explored locations to use newly acquired abilities to discover more secrets could get frustrating and time-consuming in the original game.

　　"We will feature both fast travel and rideable creatures to help players quickly get from point A to B, and back to A. The fast-travel is point to point, and the rideable creatures offer a way to quickly negotiate between points and explore what is in between."

　　Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was originally scheduled to release on March 17th worldwide, but last week, it was confirmed the game is delayed to April 28th as it needs more time to reach the high-quality players expect to find in a Respawn-developed game.

　　Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to the feedback from our community, delivering expansive destinations to explore, evolved combat and traversal, and of course, the continuation of Cal and BD’s story. Making this game has truly made us a better team, and we have pushed ourselves at every level to make this the Star Wars sequel our fans expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games. 

　　In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule.
