Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a great game by most accounts, but it has suffered from performance issues across all platforms. The new Patch 5 looks to improve the experience, including fixing a bug that causes preorder items to vanish.
but it's been slightly marred by a number of technical issues since its launch. The new Patch 5 addresses many of these issues, including a galling bug that caused preorder and deluxe game items to disappear from their inventories.

This bug reportedly caused players to lose many exclusive cosmetic items at random points during play. This seemed to occur on all platforms. Some players (including GameSpot contributors) noted that the cosmetics returned to their inventories on their own eventually, but hopefully Patch 5 will resolve the issue for everyone.
This patch includes a number of other key fixes for the game, including performance improvements on PC to reduce hitching, and an issue that caused the game's resolution scale to incorrectly decrease at times. It also has several fixes for minor issues like sound desyncing during cinematics, characters disappearing during mid-combat, and a variety of collision issues that caused players to get stuck out of bounds. The patch went live on May 17 for PC and the following day for consoles, though indicate the game still has some problems to iron out.
In GameSpot's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review, Jordan Ramée said the game "improves upon its predecessor's gameplay and storytelling to deliver an engrossing story of a Jedi grappling with morality."
