Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – How to Complete The Fractured Tradition Force Tear-November 2024
Nov 24, 2024 4:24 AM

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a lot of different challenges that will put your skills to the test. Among these challenges are different Force Tears scattered all over the game's world that will task you with defeating different enemy formations under certain conditions.

Among the first Force Tears you will encounter is the Fractured Tradition Force Tear. Despite being one of the first, it isn't easy to complete at all, as the enemy formation inside is tricky to take out under the Tear's specific condition.

Where to Find the Fractured Tradition Force Tear

The Fractured Tradition Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can be found on the planet Jedah and can be easily reached as soon as you land on the planet for the first time. From the Monastery Walls Medition Point, proceed ahead and then head to the left to reach a ruined building. In the area, you will find a grapple point leading to a beam. Get on it, proceed further, and then jump on the pillars to get to the highest point in the ruined building, where you will find the Force Tear.

How to Complete the Fractured Tradition Force Tear

The Fractured Tradition Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is made difficult by the condition under which the combat challenge has to be completed. Using only the Single Lightsaber Stance, you will have to defeat a single wave of enemies comprised of multiple Battle Droids who fight from long range, B2 Droids, two Bedlam Raiders, and one Purge Trooper.

As the Single Lightsaber Stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is decent enough at everything but excels at nothing, you will have to approach this battle defensively due to the huge amount of enemies. Focus first on dealing with the Battle Droids and the B2 Droids, repelling their shots with well-timed Lightsaber blocks and Force Push missiles back at them for some decent area of effect damage. If you have enough Force, you can also Force Pull Droids and throw them at the remaining enemies for some decent damage that will take out weaker enemies in a single hit.

Once all the droids have been dealt with, you can focus on the two Bedlam Raiders and the Purge Trooper. As it can be difficult to separate them from one another and get a long enough window of opportunity to take them down, you will have to wait for the right moment to attack. Circle around the arena, parrying and blocking as needed, attack any enemy once after they have performed their unblockable attack, and then move out of the way quickly. Once you have defeated the first enemy, do the same with the second, always remembering to never overextend and attack more than once or twice per opening. Once the second enemy has been taken out, you can fight the third one normally, making sure to heal if the enemy managed to get a hit on you. Once this third enemy is down, you will have completed the Fractured Tradition Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
