If you're a Star Wars Black Series collector, you're in for a treat. The next helmet being added to the collection is a good one. GameSpot can exclusively reveal that the Scout Trooper premium electronic helmet is being added to the Black Series collection. You can check out a bunch of images below.
Scout troopers were first introduced in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and were often used on reconnaissance missions, many times riding 74-Z speeder bikes. They are more lightly armored than typical Stormtroopers, which allows for quick movements and easy maneuvering. The helmet is presented in its iconic shape from the films and, according to Hasbro, it features "premium deco, realistic detail, movie-inspired design and electronic voice distortion so fans and collectors can have their voice sound just like a Scout Trooper." It also features a visor facepiece that lifts up when you need some fresh air after wearing a helmet around all day.

So if you're planning to cosplay as a Scout Trooper anytime soon, this one is an easy thing to talk yourself into purchasing. The Scout Trooper helmet joins other Black Series wearables like a variety of Stormtrooper helmets, The Mandalorian's helmet, a number of Boba Fett helmets, Dark Vader's iconic helmet, and even Poe Dameron's X-Wing helmet--not to mention the line of Force FX lightsabers that we surely all love drooling over.
Thankfully, you won't have to wait long to add the Scout Trooper Premium Electronic Helmet to your collection. It arrives this summer at a retail price of $132. You'll be able to acquire it from major retailers or Hasbro Pulse. It's made for ages 14 years old and up.
