Star Trek has gone through many permutations over the years and featured numerous characters, but few are as beloved as Star Trek: The Next Generation and its protagonist, Jean-Luc Picard. In a move that still feels hard to believe, actor Patrick Stewart is returning to that iconic role for a new TV series on CBS All-Access known as Star Trek: Picard.
Although the show has not yet gotten a release date, it is due out before the end of 2019, and we're beginning to learn more and more about the series. We've now gotten a few teasers and a trailer, which has helped us to formulate some theories about where things could be going.
