Square has announced its midquarter earnings, with a consolidated sales figure of 45.7 billion yen and a consolidated profit of 4.2 billion yen. With the upcoming release of two PlayStation 2 titles, The Bouncer and Final Fantasy X, the company expects profits estimated at 83.3 billion yen. If the company's projections are correct, Square will see its most profitable single fiscal year to date.
