Midway announced on Tuesday that it plans to bring the 80's classic game Spy Hunter to future next generation systems. Paradigm Entertainment, known for past games such as Pilotwings and the recent hit, Beetle Adventure Racing, will be developing the game.
The next generation Spy Hunter will still make use of the classic multi-weaponed spy mobile, however this time around the fearless spy will be projected into a completely 3D world. "Paradigm is very pleased to team up with Midway on this project," said Dave Gatchel, President/CEO of Paradigm Entertainment, Inc. "We have a great partner in Midway and an exciting concept in the Spy Hunter franchise. With the incredible technical capabilities available to us, it should add up to an awesome game experience."
No platforms or release dates have been announced for the future Spy Hunter.
