Facebook is looking to beef up the library of games available for their line of Oculus VR headsets, and it seems they may have convinced Ubisoft to help them out. According to a new report from The Information, Facebook has signed a deal with Ubisoft for Oculus-exclusive Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed VR titles. Apparently, Mark Zuckerberg himself is involved in the push for more big-name Oculus exclusives, and while this isn’t stated specifically, The Information heavily implies Facebook is at least partially funding the Ubisoft titles. Of course, take this all with a grain of salt for now, as Facebook and Ubisoft have yet to confirm any partnership. Facebook issued this vague response to the report…

　　The response to Oculus Quest and Rift S gaming has been incredible. We cannot comment on specific partnerships, but we will continue to focus on expanding our library and reaching broader gaming audiences for years to come.

　　So, not a confirmation, but not exactly a denial, either. No word yet on what form the rumored Ubisoft games might take – will they simply be VR versions of existing games? Or will they be all-new experiences? I’m sure Splinter Cell fans are a bit split about what they’d prefer. Ubisoft has been teasing Splinter Cell fans for years, so any rumors about a potential new game are exciting, and yet, is a VR experience what most people want? I’m not so sure about that.

　　Facebook currently has two Oculus models on the market – the Oculus Rift S and the standalone Oculus Quest, which doesn’t require any additional hardware to play. Both devices will cost you $400.
