Not only is No Way Home doing big numbers in theaters during the pandemic, it's also generating massive profits, it seems. Deadline reports that No Way Home is expected to make $242 million in net profit after expenses right now in early numbers. But Deadline also reported that if movie theaters remain open despite surging COVID cases, the final profit could be about $610 million.
Marvel paid 25% of No Way Home's production budget, or $50 million, and the Disney company will make 25% of the final profit, which could be more than $150 million.
For comparison, Spider-Man: Homecoming made a profit of $200 million, while Far From Home had a profit of $339 million, according to Deadline. If No Way Home exceeds $600 million in profit, it would be a bigger profit than Avengers: Infinity War ($500 million) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($417.5 million), Deadline reported.
