A few months ago, Ubisoft confirmed that the role playing game South Park: The Fractured But Whole was going to be released before the end of the year on consoles and PC. Unfortunately, development has proven apparently proven to be more troublesome than anticipated, as the publisher confirmed it will miss its previously announced release date.
With a rather short post on its official website, Ubisoft confirmed that South Park: The Fractured But Whole won't release on December 6th as originally announced but sometime during the first quarter of 2017. The additional development time will be used to make sure the game will meet the high expectations of fans.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will build upon many of the features that made The Stick of Truth so compelling, but it will also come with some brand new gameplay mechanics such as the different Super Hero classes, battle system improvements and more.
