A Sons of Anarchy game is "definitely" in production, creator of the FX biker drama series Kurt Sutter said today on Twitter.
"I cannot give you anymore details, but I will tell you that there will definitely be an SOA game," Sutter said. "And it's pretty f**king awesome."
According to Sutter, the untitled Sons of Anarchy game will be a first-person action adventure game with high-definition graphics. He also teased that it represents "the evolution of gaming."
Sutter's so far failed attempts to make a Sons of Anarchy game have been well documented. The most recent update came in November 2012, when Sutter said game he was working on was "dead." It's unclear if this new game is the same project from before.
We'll have to wait for more details on the game, like which platforms it's coming to, when it will be released, and which studio is developing it. Sutter previously reached out to Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption studio Rockstar Games to see if the company was interested in making the Sons of Anarchy game.
Sons of Anarchy, which recently concluded its sixth season, focuses on a close-knit group of bikers with violent tendencies. It is set in the fictional town of Charming, California, and stars Charlie Hunnam (Green Street Hooligans, Pacific Rim) as the show's protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller. Sons of Anarchy also features Katey Sagal (Married with Children,Futurama) and Ron Perlman (Fallout: New Vegas, Hellboy).
