Reports from Japan indicate that Sega of Japan will release a black Dreamcast console on its Dreamcast Direct e-commerce web site. The dark-colored Dreamcasts will begin selling for 21,000 yen in July. The following month, Sega will unveil multicolored VM units available in pearl white, pearl blue, and pearl pink. September will see the release of silver metallic Dreamcast controllers and VM units, which will retail for 2,800 yen. All of these items will only be available to Japanese consumers.
