Sega of America has today announced the release of Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GameCube. The role-playing game is an enhanced version of the original Skies of Arcadia that was released for the Dreamcast.

"With its vibrant story, faster battle engine, and hours of new content, Skies of Arcadia Legends is the adventure Nintendo GameCube RPG fans have been waiting for!"

　　In Skies of Arcadia Legends, players assume the role of Vyse, the heroic leader of a band of air pirates on a quest to recover six sacred artifacts and save the world. As players progress through the game, they'll get to explore six completely different floating worlds, interact with more than 300 characters, employ dozens of different spells and weapons, and even assemble their own pirate crew of up to 22 characters.
