Singapore MDA announces Game Box portal
Singapore MDA announces Game Box portal-October 2024
Oct 21, 2024 4:02 AM

Singapore's Media Development Authority (MDA) recently launched the Singapore Game Box portal, a site dedicated to showcasing and promoting Singapore-developed games to the world. The portal currently features 25 games, with the most recent ones being strategy game Call of Hens, action-adventure Sarah Ghost: The Sewer Defenders, and RTS-shooter hybrid Armor Valley.

In addition, the MDA is teaming up with the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) to launch the Singapore IndieCity Competition 2012. The top three entrants in the competition, which will be held in December, stand to win up to $2,300 in prizes.

Play a bunch of free games to win a free trip to Singapore: can't get simpler than this, really. From now until July 6 this year, two random participants will also win a chance to compete, while enjoying an all-expense-paid trip to Singapore. Participants will need to register for an account on Indiecity.com, play the four games (Armor Valley, Call of Hens, Deep Quest, and Sarah Ghost: The Sewage Defenders), and send a screenshot of themselves playing each game to [email protected]. The contest is open to all nations.
