Electronic Arts' games finished the year out strong, taking five out of the 10 spaces on NPD Techworld's latest weekly list of best-selling PC games. The Sims: Hot Date, EA's latest virtual-life game expansion, took first place, followed by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, EA's fantasy adventure game based on the J.K. Rowling novel of the same name. EA's incredibly popular virtual-life game The Sims held on to third place, while Infogrames' theme park management game, RollerCoaster Tycoon, remained in fourth. Activision's World War II shooter Return to Castle Wolfenstein climbed up to fifth place, followed by two more Sims expansion packs--The Sims: House Party in sixth place, and The Sims: Livin' Large in seventh.
