Maxis, the creators of the hot-selling SimCity 3000 will release a special set of St. Patrick's Day add-ons tomorrow - Wednesday, March 17. The add-ons include three terrain maps, one real terrain of Dublin, Ireland, an imaginary city in the shape of Ireland, and a city in the shape of a Shamrock.
The company has been adding free add-ons for SC3K to the official Sim City web site every two weeks. More than 40 percent of all SC3K owners have downloaded at least one of the add-ons for the game. With the luck of the Irish, that number may grow for the green holiday.
In the meantime, slainte (Irish for “to your health” or “cheers”) for all, and Happy St. Paddy's Day.
