Sierra Studios and Impressions have made two announcements that should make Pharaoh fans very happy. The first is the game's official expansion: Cleopatra, which should be available this July. Cleopatra will contain 15 completely new scenarios over the course of four new campaigns. The expansion will pick up where the original game left off - at the end of the New Kingdom, and its scenarios will include historic events, like Marc Antony's battle with Octavian. The expansion will also include additional buildings and industries to improve players' kingdoms, as well as new gameplay options, such as the ability to carry over troops and amassed wealth from scenario to scenario.
The second announcement is much more instantly gratifying: To celebrate the announcement of the expansion, Sierra Studios has also released a free enhancement pack, which includes a number of new missions and features, as well as a mission editor. The enhancement is available for download now, from the link to the right.
