Shrapnel Games announced today that it will donate 5 percent of its sales for the next month to the American Red Cross Emergency Relief Fund. The money donated will be used to help fund the ongoing rescue efforts in New York City and Washington, DC, and help provide assistance to the victims and families of victims of the recent terrorist attacks.
"Our first thought was to shut down operations for a time, but we realized that this would mean that the terrorists had won," said Timothy Brooks, the president of Shrapnel Games. "We believe that continuing the businesses of our country is important to showing the world that we will not be intimidated by such cowardly acts of violence."
