The PC version of Shenmue III will become available for pre-order on December 15, and new videos are planned to be shown early 2017.

　　That’s what Shenmue’s creator, Yu Suzuki, said in a recent feature in Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. This is what Suzuki said about the game’s development and expectations for 2017 (thanks for the translation Gematsu).

　　“Development is entering the final stage headed towards full-scale production. Early in the new year, I think we’ll be able to show you things such as new videos.

　　“We will continue progressing with development so that our backers and those who experience the world of Shenmue for the first time can do so with pleasure.

　　“Also, at noon on December 15, we will start pre-order sales for the PC version of Shenmue III, which received a lot of requests.

　　Shenmue 3 is the true sequel to the classic open world action RPG games, Shenmue and Shenmue 2. Created for modern platforms (PC and PlayStation 4) and built in Unreal 4, Shenmue 3 will continue the legacy of Shenmue.
