New character posters for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings have been released. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie hits theaters on September 3.

　　There are six new posters, each focusing on one of the movie's main characters. There's Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Leung as Mandarin, Meng'er Zhang as Xialing, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, and the mysterious assassin Death Dealer. 　　Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings also stars Fala Chen as Jiang L and Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon. It's directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed Short Term 12 and Just Mercy. You can check out April's first trailer here, plus this more recent clip.

　　The character of Shang-Chi was created by Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin, and first appeared in Marvel comic books in the 1970s to cash in on the popularity of Bruce Lee and the TV show Kung-Fu.

　　Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be followed by Eternals in November and Spider-Man: No Way Home in December. Beyond that, Marvel has lots more films lined up for 2022 and 2023, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and The Marvels.
