Ubisoft today announced that Throne of Oblivion, the second expansion pack to Wolfpack Studios' massively multiplayer online role-playing game Shadowbane, is slated for release later this year. Featuring a new playable race of vampires, an entirely new realm, and a rulership system that allows players to seize and compete for control of entire sections of the gameworld, the pack is currently slated to ship on November 30 for $19.99.
Throne of Oblivion's new options center around a new storyline--the world that the players inhabit has been invaded by the Lands of the Dead. The new character-creation options available to players all revolve around this invasion. Players can now choose to be supernatural Vampires or can choose classes like nightstalker and necromancer.
Shadowbane: Throne of Oblivion is the second expansion to the Shadowbane game; the first, The Rise of Chaos, shipped last December.
