Today Square Enix is holding a press event to unveil Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which we are also attending.
However, ahead of tomorrow's embargo, an image just leaked on the Web showcasing Shadow of the Tomb Raider's many box arts and editions.
Apparently, there will be a Standard Edition, a Croft Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition, a Digital Croft Edition, a Collector's Edition and even a Steelbook edition. The box art also confirms that Eidos Montréal has developed the game as we had surmised (Crystal Dynamics is working on The Avengers project).
Last but not least, the game will be rated 18+ which suggests mature themes and tones. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will seemingly see Lara Croft trying to stop a Mayan apocalypse, as mentioned yesterday by the official Twitter.
Check back tomorrow for a lot more on the game, which is due to release on September 14th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
