Yesterday, we reported a rumor about Shadow of Mordor 2 being in development. This rumor was originally found by Nerdleaks via the Curriculum Vitae of stunt actress Lauren Mary Kim, who worked on popular TV shows like Daredevil (she worked on the Elektra stunts, for instance), Agents of SHIELD, Hawaii Five-0 and Castle just to name a few; she also worked on lots of games such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Batman: Arkham Knight, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and most recently the upcoming Mafia III.

　　However, the actress herself has just reached out to us in order to deny any involvement in Shadow of Mordor 2. According to her, this is "inaccurate information put on her resume" as a mistake in the IStunt database, and she wished this to be publicly known as she never worked on such a project.

　　Of course, this does not mean that Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions are not working on Shadow of Mordor 2. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was the sleeper hit of 2014 in gaming and a sequel is almost inevitable, after the critical acclaim and great sales of the first entry in this franchise. According to VGChartz, which does not take into account digital sales, Shadow of Mordor sold approximately 5.6 million units across all platforms.

　　It's rather easy to picture an announcement at E3 or Gamescom 2016, then, but as far as this rumor goes we have to shut it down. Sorry, folks!
