Sega Entertainment's presence in the PC market has thus far been felt through its conversions of Sega arcade games, but the company says it plans on bringing its first original title.
England's NMS Software, developer of the Tilt! and Mass Destruction arcade titles, as well as the Risk and Battleship strategy games, is creating Conflict of Nations for Sega. The game is due this November.
As the name implies, Conflict of Nations will be an entry in the real-time strategy/adventure genre. Sega says the game will be a "true-to-life wartime escalation between actual countries during the imperialistic start of the 20th century" and is also touting the game's "satirical humor that explores the truly dark side of war."
Players will engage in land, sea, and air combat and will control 15 characters, 40 unit types, and 28 building types. The game will feature a multiplayer component as well.
