Sega had plenty of games on show at JAMMA, including the first appearance of a Dreamcast-compatible Naomi arcade system. Naomi information is located in a separate story, also posted today.

　　The highly-anticipated AM2 fighter Spikeout is impressive. It's a Final Fight-style action fighting game in 3D - which some might say make it a Fighting Force-style game. Each of the playable characters has their own support characters. For instance, Spike carries his son on his back. When Spike's health reaches a certain level, his son stands up and gets ready to kick some ass. Although it's not known how effective this is in the game.

　　Spikeout supports up to four player simultaneous, cooperative play. This is not a game where you battle each other. The game is set in a city divided into 3 stages (30 areas). According to Toshihiro Nagoshi, producer of the game, this city was designed with New York City in mind. There will be a Downtown area, Shopping Mall, Opera House in the city. Of course there are multiple paths to take and short cuts throughout the city.

　　These will sometimes depend on the number of players.

　　Ocean Hunter is a shooter set under the sea. The graphics are extremely detailed and beautiful. Players explore a wrecked ship or sunken ancient city and shoot the evil sea monsters. There are seven seas to be explore: Baroque Sea, Luna Sea, Tartarus Deep, Texcoco Great-Lake, North Sea, West Ocean and Panthalassa. At the end of each adventure, there will be huge sea monsters to defeat.
