Looking Glass Studios announced Monday that its upcoming high-realism simulation Flight Unlimited III will feature 10,000 square miles of photo-realistic terrain of the Seattle area (at a resolution of about four meters per pixel), including the Space Needle, Mt. Rainier, downtown Seattle, and the new Seattle Mariners stadium.
Players can also import high-resolution scenery from Flight Unlimited II - roughly 10,000 square miles of the San Francisco area - and will be able to fly all around the western United States, including Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, California, and Arizona.
Other features will include dynamic weather, real-world air traffic control and aircraft AI, new "missions" flying around in the Seattle area, ten different aircraft, and more.
Flight Unlimited III is due out late 1999.
