Sanity, Aiken's Artifact takes place in a futuristic world where government agents and terrorists alike carry heavy firepower - firepower that dwarfs the conventional man-made weapons of the modern world. In the world of Sanity, some children are born with psionic powers, or "talents," which let them perform superhuman feats, like levitating, hurling about extremely heavy objects, or summoning terrifying creatures to do their bidding.
But not all psionicists are menaces to society. In Sanity, you'll assume the role of government agent Cain, a veteran operative and powerful psionicist. Cain's innate ability to instantly create fires has been harnessed by a top-secret government program in a hidden lab known only as the Aiken Institute. Over the course of his lifetime of training, Cain's pyrokinetic abilities have been honed to perfection. In the game, Cain is sent on a clandestine mission to save the world from a diabolical group of psionic criminals who are bent on taking over the world. In the process, he'll not only battle enemies armed with conventional weapons, but he'll also tangle with rival psionicists, some of whom have powers that equal, or exceed, his own. To hunt down his enemies, Cain must return to the Aiken Institute - the place of his training - to find out where his enemies are and what he can do to stop them.
You'll be able to put Cain's powerful pyrokinetic talents to the test this fall, when Sanity is scheduled for release.
